I love HIIT workouts (high intensity interval training). It is a perfect way to get your cardio in for 15-20 min since I know for myself I don’t have time to be in the gym for hours everyday. It is intense, burns fat without losing muscle and fun (ok maybe after you are finished) because you can always change it up to challenge your body.
Today’s HIIT workout (10-12 min depending on rest time)
1. Jump squats (Lower intensity do speed squats)
2. Push-up jacks (2 push-up jacks stand up & repeat)
3. High plank in and outs (Lower intensity plank low lunges)
4. Mountain climbers (Lower intensity knee into chest)
30 sec each exercise, 30-60 rest repeat 4 times.
