Turkey meatloaf

Turkey meatloaf

Love this turkey meatloaf recipe! We had ours with a side of sauteed broccoli in 1tbs of grape seed oil seasoned with sea salt and garlic powder.

Turkey meatloaf
1lb of lean ground turkey (I use the 93% at Kroger)
3oz of Stove Top savory herb stuffing mix (half the box)
1/4 cup ketchup
1/4 cup water
1/8 cup diced onion
1 clove minced garlic
1 egg white

1. Pre-heat over to 350 degrees
2. In a bowl add the meat, water, egg white, onion, garlic, stove top mix and half of the ketchup and mix well.
4. Place meat mixture in a meatloaf tin or small baking dish
5. Pour the rest of the ketchup on top
6. Bake 45-50 minutes

I heart Ezekiel Bread

Ez bread

One of my fav complex carbs is Ezekiel bread, which you can get in the organic frozen sections in most grocery stores. It is a great source of protein & fiber, contains amino acids, flourless, no sugar, the list goes on. It is really filling and I prefer it to regular whole wheat bread. They even have a cinnamon raisin flavor, yum.

Breakfast inspiration: Open face sandwich. 3-4 egg whites, 1 whole egg over easy or egg whites with veggies like spinach, tomatoes, avocado etc. Serve over a slice of Ezekeil bread with a side of berries. Enjoy!
